Picked up the books, blocked out time in my hectic schedule, and took the pulse on my ridiculously high motivation.

Another Epic Fail but with the right intentions

So here we go again. This is me making yet another attempt to complete my degree. On previous attempts, my intentions were there but not the time due to founding, building and running a highly successful company group, and raising three bright kids.

I've since sold the company and all that was attached, although I did decide to keep the kids. Like the entrepreneur and connoisseur of punishment that I am, I have already bought 50 per cent of another company group which after 3 months is already experiencing promising growth. Here I was thinking that I could and would, take 6 months off before making any new commitments- I lasted 6 weeks!

Despite this rather embarrassing 'shortfall', I did, however, make a solid commitment that I would structure my professional and personal time differently to allow enough time for further studies.    

Let's see how well the God of Priorities will support my study cause this time!

Epic Fail No.34

Back in January of this year I made a solid commitment to myself that I would continue my MBA- at the very least finish 3 units this year. So how much did I actually do? About 10 hours of reading and 4 hours of writing! Not what I would call making a commitment. 


Another addition to my list of failures! I better get my act together for 2012

Resuming my MBA

Between working for a federal Minister, starting a building up a sustainable and profitable company, and obtaining my Company Directors qualifications, there really hasn't been much time left over for achieving my long term goal of completing a Doctorate.

It's been a few years since I commenced my MBA and now is the time to get busy with studying again. Can't wait!
